Osteopathy

Reem & Yulian
Mexico/Miami/Ontario

Osteopathy is a hands-on therapy that focuses on alignment of physiology with spirituality. It includes craniosacral work, myofascial release, joint manipulations, and is one of the few modalities that can go a layer deeper by mobilizing organs. The practitioner looks at the interconnections of the body, seeking the root cause vs. symptomatic treatment. Sessions can include internal and external work depending on the patient's comfort and necessity. Most recently, Reem & Yulian completed certification in spasms of the brain, to include treatment of concussions, headaches, migraines, as well as emotional and traumatic shocks.

Women of Earth

Integrative Bodywork with Closing of the Bones

Kayla Morin | Toronto, ON

Kayla Dawn Morin is a woman, mother, space holder and coach with 10 years of hands-on experience working with women and their families intimately one-on-one, through bodywork, birth work, and trauma healing facilitation— a unique, intuitive approach that blends talking, touch, and an intentional, co-creative container. Women of Earth is all about this idea that we ARE the earth, we are literally made up of where we live, what we consume, and what we give. It’s a call to remember that lineage is maternal, and we all have “traditional” or “land-based” ancestors alive within us, guiding us along. Kayla has been closing women’s bones for many years now, after learning from multiple teachers in different mentorship settings, including time spent apprenticing with Quichua midwives in the Andes mountains of Ecuador, and deep study in the bell tent on her mentor Sasha Padron’s land in Northern Ontario. She is excited to bring this powerful practice to our community. “In my creation” sees you owning your place as a creator of your life, placing you there, in relation. By grounding into your body and that power to actively release, feel, and welcome truth & newness, you will find liberation and greater peace with your soul. Ancestral and inner child healing, which means restoration to wholeness. We all need this. I invite you to surrender to receive, and trust. Your trust is cherished. Walk away a little more free, and relaxed. The flow of our sessions: We gather together, you share your intentions, we set the space, and go from there. I may reflect, ask questions, or receive messages through working on your body. I may invite you to meet an edge of somatic/emotional release. My touch training is based in Thai massage, shiatsu, reiki and acupressure. I’ve trained extensively as a space holder & mentor for pregnancy, birth, loss, and postpartum. These skills are easily transferable to any major life challenge or transition. You will feel lighter, more grounded, clear, and connected with yourself. This massage/ bone closing/ ceremonial coaching container is also available for men.

Womb Continuum Care

Maible Arden | NY

My work is the recentering of the wellness of women. I am a womb continuum care, provider, postpartum care provider, and mother. I am a stream follower, a woods wanderer, a crafty little squirrel, and a soup maker. I am a weaver of web and village: of support, of stories, of resourcing for women and mothers. I am a lifelong student of women’s bodies, midwifery, herbalism, my ancestors, motherhood, and my own womb. I approach women’s well-being through body and spirit, physiology and mystery, biology and intuition. I trust in the healing capacity of our bodies and in the strength of women. I live amongst the mountains and mosses of upstate New York with my family.  When we tend the womb, we tend the whole woman. When we center women, we change culture.

Mother Birth Way

Ayurvedic Head Massage

Stacy Madoche | St. Paul, AB

My name is Stacy, and my own journey with motherhood has gifted me the honour of walking beside women as they navigate theirs. Mother Birth Way began as a way to honour the living elements within and around us and the sacred journey of new mothers. Over time it has grown to embrace much more. With the birth of a baby, a mother is also born. From that deep understanding and lived experience, I felt called to extend this same nurturance to women in all seasons of life: the maiden, the wise woman, those moving through grief, those standing at the threshold of change, or simply for those wishing to be held. Through warm, herbal oil bodywork and gentle energy practices, I extend the invitation to awaken and support your body’s innate capacity to heal. What is an ‘Ayurvedic Head Massage’? A nourishing, warm oil treatment for the head, face, neck, shoulders and chest. This gentle practice will get you out of your head and into your heart. Crown to Sacral: A grounding ritual that combines the benefits of Ayurvedic Head Massage with abdominal work. Some benefits include improved digestion, hormonal health and emotional release while promoting self-love. Abhyanga: A traditional Ayurvedic oil treatment for the whole body. Both detoxifying and balancing, with an abundance of other benefits for your body, mind and spirit, you will experience true Sneha: the Sanskrit word for oil and love. A reminder that touch is medicine. Complimentary add-ons may include: ear oiling, gentle caesarean or scar care, womb wrapping.
