The Nectar Nest will be offering heartfully wildcrafted Flower Essence within the Village Marketplace. Flower Essence (FE) are a a unique system of botanical medicine, with roots in both shamanistic practice and homeopathy. FE are crafted by capturing the energetic blueprint, signature, healing information, and harmonic resonance of the flowering part of a plant into a water matrix using the light and heat of the Sun. FE work through the various human energy fields, which in turn influence mental, emotional and physical well-being. They function beyond the limits of the symptomatic approach of the modern medical system, they are not merely remedies to fix emotional symptoms, rather they serve as catalysts for awareness, transformation and connection. Each remedy is co-created with the flowers through the rooted tendrils of relationship and reciprocity. We practice deep listening and honouring of the needs & health of our more-than-human kin, the Land and their environments.
To receive a drop of flower essence into your body is to sip on the wisdom of the seasons, the secrets rooted in the earth’s memory, the alchemy of sunlight and water, and the subtle invitation to heal in harmony with all living things. Her book was created as an offering designed to support humans navigating the complexity of the human experience. It is a journey through the stages of alchemy as it relates to spiritual awakening and is a compilation of poems, art, prayer, and permission slips. Her book is a journey of Remembering and is for those who have chosen to walk the fires of transformation in their life; it serves as a reminder through the highs and lows and everything in between that we have permission to let it all belong. She will have prints of her artwork available and will also be offering personalized integrative art and intuitive readings for those integrating a life transition (both internally or externally) who wish to be witnessed in their story and have their own creation.

After more than a decade navigating the hustle of the corporate world, I left Calgary’s fast-paced rhythm in search of something deeper. Trading office walls for open roads, I moved into a van with the dream of living by simply being and journeyed to Vancouver Island. There, time slowed. Days melted into weeks, and weeks into months as I sat with the ocean, reconnected with nature - my own included - and let its rhythm heal me.
I often thought, "If everyone could do nothing else but sit with the ocean, the whole world would change." As I listened, witnessed, and felt, a question formed: "How can I bring this feeling of connection - one we all crave - back to people?"
Drawn to the quiet wisdom of driftwood, I had already begun collecting pieces, though I wasn’t yet sure why. Then, in that moment of stillness, I heard the ocean’s gentle nudge: "Bring me to them."
And so, Drift and Wonder was born.
